This beautiful old mansion is accurately decorated in heavy Victorian style. Lots of steps so make sure you can handle those. Felt right at home, helping ourselves for breakfast in kitchen and eating in beautiful old dining room. Mercina was an excellent hostess, available if needed but staying out of our way. Surrounding areas were sketchy, but immediate area felt safe. Highly recommend for peace and quiet.

Positive: There is so much to look at in every room. It is such a unique experience compared to other places you can stay and the beds were SO comfortable!
Negative: We did find a used q-tip and used bandaid in our room but over all the room was clean and tidy.

Historical home from St. Joe's past.
Positive: Beautiful old home in an interesting neighborhood.
Negative: Stairs to the bedroom made getting luggage up a challenge. Bathroom for our room was down the hall.
